USB1543 DAC - Review #3

This DAC is night and day when comparing it to all the other DACs in my systems.
It produces significantly better sound compared to both the DAC in my inspiron XPS
and my Harman Kardon AVR75. It is also quite a bit better than the DAC in my dimension XPS
(intel high resolution). The other DACs seem compressed and 'muddy' compared to this one -
in fact I started hearing instruments and effects that I hadn't heard before. And there is
a large convenience factor too, as I'm plunked in front of my computer most of the day.
I would definitely recommend that anyone with a half decent system anchored by a computer
give this DAC a try.
